“No kidding?” Will raised a brow, pulling his hand off of his face resting it against his chest as he moved his other arm behind his head resting on it he watched her storm away and have a few selective words with the guy on the other line. “Sounds like he doesn’t want to be your ex anymore.” Will commented bluntly, it was more of an observation than anything. So she was single? That’s a shame; she seemed to be the kind of nice girl who deserved a nice guy. Unlike Will, people like him were always alone; he had a hard time grasping onto someone for a prolonged period of time. He liked changed, experiencing new things. The whole idea of a long relationship seemed like a waste of time to him, but what did he know? He was just some teenager trying to get through life one day a time.
He nodded, repositioning his hand as he relaxed. The trickles of sun that escaped from the leaves were bothering his eyes so he decided to simply block them with his hand; it was an obvious method of ignoring the warm rays in his eyes. “Well, it’s a nice place to think and be alone for a while. But I’m sure it’s also nice to be with someone and just have a nice time, it’s a good park after all.” Will somewhat shrugged, he really didn’t know what else to say. He didn’t want to insult her considering it sounded like she just broke it off with her ex, and he didn’t want to push her or rush her into anything, especially something she might not be willing to handle. Will wasn’t sure what he wanted to do himself, so he found himself speechless. He suddenly jolted up, sitting up straight and staring at her. “Hey, want to go get something to eat?” His head tilted faintly, a peace offering if anything, a way to escape what seemed to be bothering her. Will didn’t care if his pants were wet, if anything he wanted to make Dawn feel a little better.

Dawn looked at will and kinda sighed some "Yah we have been seperated for almost 2 years now and he just wont get the fact that i dont want to be with him any more" she said softly as she ran her hand up and down her arm slightly. She could still remember the times that he grabed her arm and almost broke her arm. She shook her head of the thought and then looked at him again and nodded.
"yah it is rather nice to have someone here so you have someone to talk to, so your not talking to a bird or a squirrl sitting up in the branches" she said as she leaned agasint the tree again and then looked at him as she heard him ask if she wanted to get something to eat. She smiled and then nodded her head "Sure that sounds like a good idea" she said as she got up and walked over to where her clothes were and put her jeans back on as well as her shirt. She laughed some as she felt her jeans begin to get wet. She looked at him and kinda blushed a little bit "Well now we both can match" she said as she picked up her sweater and phone and walked over to him and smiled.

Will was surprised, two years and the guy still couldn’t take a hint? What kind of losers had she dated in the past? His brow rose as he didn’t really react to it, he was just surprised at how sad people could really be. Apparently, rather sad, but two years just seemed pathetic. He smirked as she mentioned talking to the animals that lived up in the tall branches. She seemed to be alone for quite a while then if she started talking to the little woodland creatures that had no idea what she was saying. Will was just about to check his wallet for money when his phone rang. Picking it up he said nothing, simply listened to the person on the other line. “K.” He mumbled into the speaker, snapping it shut he sighed.
He stood up straight, facing Dawn. “Damn, I’m really sorry I just got some really bad news, can I get a rain check on that meal? Maybe later tonight?” He smiled softly; his eyes were full of apologetic sympathy for the girl. He rubbed the back of his neck slowly before digging into his damp jeans pocket. “Here, lunch is on me.” He smiled bright as he handed her twenty dollars. He smirked as she put on her pants while her shorts were still soaked from her diving into the pool. “Yea…Well, I’ll see you later on. Meet me at the school, I’ll find my way there.” He winked at her, digging his hands into his pockets he left without another word. Will was a strange one, he didn’t even explain himself to her, even if he did feel bad.

Dawn looked at will and smilled some. She pushed herself off the ground and brushed the grass and dirt from her jeans and then watched Will answer his phone. She listened kinda carefully and smiled. She then bit down on her lip as she heard him say k. she ran her hand over the top of her head as she looked at him and then shurgged her shoulders. She heard him as he asked if they could do the meal later tonight. "Um yah sure" she said as she stood there.
She then watched as he pulled out money from his wallet and hand it to her. She shook her head and gave it back to him. "I dont want your money. I am ok." she said as she looked at her shirt and pants that were begining to soak threw. she sighed and then looked at him and smiled. She nodded her head and then sighed a little bit as she watched him walk away. She sat back down on the grass and began to play with her hair a little bit "ok" she siad softly as she watched him walk away.
She soon got rather bored of sitting here alone just waiting for something to happen. She got up and looked around nad picked up her sweater and Ipod and headed towards the school ground. She decided that she would just kinda head to the school and then just kinda wait for Will.
